Zappa Plays Zappa will honor the 40th anniversary of Frank Zappa and The Mothers of Invention's 1975 albumOne Size Fits All by performing the LP in its entirety during a North American tour next year. The Dweezil Zappa-led group, which will also be celebrating its own 10 year anniversary, will perform for the first time on Long Island at The Paramount on July 24th.
One Size Fits All ended up being the final album from The Mothers of Invention when it was released in 1975. The record features a number of Zappa classics, including the groundbreaking, time signature-shifting opener "Inca Roads," and both instrumental and vocal versions of "Sofa" (Sofa No. 1" and "Sofa No. 2," respectively).
