Battles: Dross Glop

I'm glad they released a remix album. Battles came out with a unique new sound, then got tiresome over the years. To hear their music remixed gives new life to it. I think, the fact that this is so much more enjoyable than the last record, is proof they need a new producer, or a new angle. They're obviously a band that is capable of doing a lot more than their signature noise-wanking sound. I look forward to the next chapter in their career, perhaps they will move in different directions sonically.
